Changes to Short Term Lettings in London

The Department for Communities and Local Government published a policy statement setting out the details of its proposed reforms for London. It intends to permit short-term letting of residential premises in London for up to 90 days per calendar year without the need for planning permission. There are some safeguards. But how will neighbours feel about such a provision? Will it work without accidentally creating an AST?
